Flooding

Flooding typically occurs when there is an overflow of water from rivers, streams, lakes, or oceans, or when a significant amount of rainfall occurs in a short time period. To react to flooding, the most important thing is to keep yourself and your family safe. If you experience flooding in your area, be sure to move to higher ground and avoid walking, driving, or swimming in flood water.
