Survivalism is a movement or lifestyle of survivalists or preppers who actively prepare for emergencies, including possible disruptions in social or political order, on scales from local to international.
From a Preppers perspective survivalism is a set of skills, training and preparedness that will provide an advantage over those that are not prepared during SHTF scenarios.
Not all societal breakdown are apocalyptic or cataclysmic. Survivalism is a mindset based on survival in all scenarios including economic collapse, foreign invasion and more.
